It was was one night stay. We arrived earlier than the check in time and because the room was clean they allowed us to access our room early. The day we were checking out they kept our luggage for us until we left in the early afternoon. We also appreciated all the suggestions and the hi-lited map on places to see and eat. Grazzi

If having an accommodation in the very center of things is your goal, this property is the perfect solution. But travelers need to be aware that accessing this residence in your own car is not possible. But you can park in a covered garage in town and a valet will take you right to the front door and pick you up when you are ready to leave. Well worth the 35 euro for the service! Ada was extremely helpful in instructing us about how to reach the hotel and had many suggestions for what to see. I would characterize this place as a "hidden gem."

This is a beautiful spot in Orvieto. Serene and modern. It is important to know that L’Aquile is a bit hidden, and there is no direct car access, so luggage must be pulled down narrow cobbled streets on a hillside. The proprietor is warm, gracious, and informative.

The propety is in the heart of Siena. You can walk to all the major points of interest. We also were close enough to walk to the Piazza Geamsci to catch a bus to Florence. In addition, the room was truly a piece of art with frescoes. The bed is so comfortable, like a sleeping pill. The shower has excellent water pressure and hot water. The room heats with radiant heat, nice on your feet. Both Ada and Massimo are genuine and helpful. Ada gave us great dining suggestions as well. We spent two nights, if i did it again i would have stayed longer and day tripped to other places. I would choose this place again for sure.

Ada was exceptional!! She gave us a local map with all recommendations of what to see, where to eat fantastic Italian cuisine, coffee shops and so much more!! The room was so beautifully decorated, the bathroom was really nice with lots of room! We were located in a perfect location!! I highly recommend staying here!! This is truly a boutique style hotel. We got very lucky to have booked this. Location was in central Siena which was a huge bonus. The rooms were stunning with hundreds of year old frescoes on the ceiling. The interior was furnished beautifully, the mattress was extremely comfortable and cleanliness was obvious. Massimo and Ada are THE BEST HOSTS

This is a fantastic place!! The location is perfect…. the room amazing and the proprietors Massimo and his son Andrea as well as their assistant Ada were all charming, welcoming and had lots of great dining recommendations!! We will definitely stay here again when bsck in Siena but will ask for the deluxe suite which is even more incredible and just a little more expensive!! Total thumbs up for this property! Best of our trip to Italy thus far!

The room was small but very beautiful, with a recently found fresco uncovered on the wall. Very clean, tidy and well appointed. Ada from the front desk was very friendly, kind and helpful and made a dinner reservation for us at an excellent restaurant off the beaten path.

Ada and Massimo made our stay in Siena such a wonderful experience. The room was amazing, bringing the history of the building together with modern amenities perfectly. The location couldn't have been better. Ada greeted us upon arrival and gave some great recommendations for restaurants and things to see. Massimo was able to help us get a taxi early in the morning. In all, this is a beautiful B & B run by people that truly love their comune and love sharing it with visitors.

Ada went above and beyond as a hosted, suggesting places to eat and visit, carrying bags to the room and even helping with the taxi to the train station, by accompanying us to the taxi stand arranging the taxi and waiting to It had arrived. The room itself had a very modern vibe in an old building. The floor had been divided up in to 4 bedrooms which meant there was noise from the other rooms occasionally.

Only stayed for a night at this accommodation. The location is very convenient, within 5 minutes walk to most attraction sites. This property is well-maintained and the room is very clean. It really meets the hotel standards in my opinions. The staff were very welcoming and made good recommendations on cafes/restaurants/places to visit. There is no elevator in the building, but the staff was very kind to help me carry my luggage to the third floor. On the check out date, I was in an urgent need to get a taxi to the train station, my SIM card didn’t work so I couldn’t really use Google map to get to a taxi station. The staff carried my luggage and walked me to the taxi station (I was amazed by the high quality of hospitality, exceed expectation). I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Siena. If I have a chance to revisit, I’ll surely stay here again :)

Perfectly located just a very short stroll from the Campo and in easy reach of all the sites and a wide range of restaurants. Ada was the perfect host, with nothing too much trouble for her. Our room was one of the more modern 'luxury doubles' that had fewer original features than in several other rooms (see website) but had all we needed for our two night stay in Siena

Beautiful room in center of Siena. Free parking is far away. We had to take a bus for 1.50 euro ticket to entrance of Seina. It was easy, but it is not stated how far away the free parking is on hotels.com. Ada met us at the bus stop and helped with luggage. She gave us a lot of recommendations of places to eat and see. The building was empty as far as we could tell. The shower is amazing! No English television stations, but we watched Netflix and YouTube late at night. We would like to stay again when in Siena.

This wonderful historic property is located in old town one block from the largest public square and within walking distance of any part of the old city. Our hostess greeted us, showed us our lovely room and sat down with a map pointing out all the great places to see, eat and have coffee or gelato! The hostess and owner of the property were very gracious and accommodating to any need or request. There wasn't an elevator, but no problem -- the hostess carried our bags up and down the stairs both as we arrived and departed. Because taxi service is not reliable when leaving, she was kind enough to walk us to the taxi pick up point several blocks away lest we get lost trying to find it! I mean they were awesome, we had a great stay in beautiful Siena and we would go back again in a heartbeat!

Residenza d'Epoca Le Aquile is full of beauty, history and hospitality. I highly recommend you stay here when visiting Siena. Massimo, Andrea and Ada are thoughtful, professional and generous. They will welcome you and make you feel at home. Don't hesitate to ask them for help or information. The spacious room I stayed in for 10 days had the cherub and eagles fresco. What a beautiful sight to behold in the morning and evening while lying in bed. The bathroom is spacious and the lighting is good for make up application and getting ready. The bed and pillow were comfortable. Coffee/tea is available in the room along with a minifridge. The Residenza is a few minutes walk from Il Campo and just about everything else in the historic center. I arrived by train and took a taxi (available at the train station) to the Residenza d'Epoca Le Aquile.
