Rooms need cleaned better . Cobwebs on light fittings and windows. Basic rooms needing upgraded , new carpets etc . Cheap and functional. Bar better than the rooms . Food was good at reasonable prices . You get what you pay for

Check in was fine. The room was so small it was like sleeping in a broom cupboard, the carpet was filthy, the bathroom was to small to be a bathroom and the dressing table mirror was not a mirror had no glass in, window was filthy, bed was very low. Food was fine

The hotel is looking 'tired', my room could have done with a lick of paint and there were carpet stains, however my room was safe and warm. Not value for money though. Issue compounded by the fact that the bin-lorry arrived at 4am (yes - 4am), appreciate that this is not the fault of the hotel, but it needs a mention.

Staff pleasant when I checked in. Room needed a revamp carpet dirty, walls marked, shower behind door black, floor ripped, towel rail broken. Apart from all that the bed was comfy with clean linen and towels.

Hereford for one night for work. Checked in afternoon, went for Nightshift then back for a few hours sleep till checkout. Glad I wasn't sleeping overnight; I came back after nightshift at 0630 on Sunday morning, couldn't believe the noise from inconsiderate people making no effort to be quiet and total lack of respect for other guests, walls paper thin so you can hear every word of conversation from other rooms. Decor very tired, massive amounts of mould all over shower, and the shower head was disgusting. It's a cheap place for a very good reason. I'll happily pay more and go elsewhere - don't let the pictures fool you. All the staff were very pleasant and polite.

Great food, staff friendly and helpful. But cleaner needs to do better lots of hair in shower and dirty lady stuff left in draw. But beds and towels clean. We had a good stay and would stay again.

The carpet in the bed room was filty so bad i had to were my shoes all the time the receptions was nice when we checked in but went down to have a drink later and there was nowhere to sit and they were not a bit helpful had to walk a mile down the road for a drink the bed was very clean and the room was nice and warm but got no sleep with the noise it went on all night i was still awake at 5 in the morning the hotel could be nicer if it wasn't for the dirty carpets and the all night music

I stayed alone for the night as I was working at sandtoft aerodrome for a supercar experience day.The first thing I saw when I went into the shared bathroom was a towel on the floor outside the shower with drops of blood on and blood drops over the floor. Needless to say I didn't use the bathroom other that to use the toilet. The room smelt musty and like dirty men. The kettle had to be placed on the floor to plug in as there were no plugs where it was located. There was no lamp so had to sleep with the main light on. The TV was not tuned so the picture was not watchable. The whole place was dirty and needs updating. The doors slammed anytime anyone came through them and there was a lot of noise coming from the bar downstairs. Luckily I only had a one night stay and I had to sleep with my coat over me as I wasn't going to get into the scruffy smelly bedding. All in all a stay I would not like to repeat.

The floor creaks alot and it's uneven. There were used soap in the shower that's a turn off but i travel with my own and there were no hand soap in the dispenser. I wasn't aware of noise (karaoke) coming from downstairs from the bar it's convenient for a lime but only thing you have to wait till after 11pm before the noise ends if you want to sleep. I love the how the room looks more like a home rather than a hotel and for me the heating took like 2-3 hours before the room start feeling warm.

Brilliant value for mny for the room very helpful friendly staff and locals very good home cooked food ( evening meal ) with excellent value for mny also lovely breakfast ( breakfast isn't normally available but due it being st ledger was on )

Worst place I’ve ever stayed , dirty carpets and room beds weee spring awful things Wouldn’t shower as that dirty Got blankets our eye car to lay on top of beds with as were far from home and exhausted Everyone fighting out side the rooms why people were having seizures police and ambulance’s everywhere and loud music till late with the whole pub screaming loud to the songs

The staff were friendly and really nice but even they could not make a silk purse from a sow’s ear. The hotel accommodation is very dated. Room 15 has issues with health and safety. Very narrow passage to the room door and a big brown obstacle was in the way. There is a very sudden change in floor levels with caused me to trip. And again in the night. It was cheap so can’t complain too much. The mattress offered zero support and you could feel every spring digging into you. Sink was cracked. It just wasn’t in pristine condition.
