Hotel Takimoto has a very natural feel almost like you are staying in someone’s home. The circular fireplace is an excellent place to enjoy a drink before and after dinner and meet fellow guests. . The food was all delicious and varied. The ski rental shop on site is professional and helpful. The guests are a mix of Japanese and western travelers. The scenery is spectacular.

Amenities were extremely good. The hotel is in a really good location in Shiga Kogen. The food and drinks were good. The staff was always helpful and friendly!
