Highly recommend the breakfast!

Otroligt vänliga och omtänksamma värdar. De gjorde vistelsen super! De lagade och serverade oss olika frukost till oss varje dag vid vårat bord.

Fantastic location , literally ski in-ski out. Truly authentic Japanese experience. But the best of all are the hosts and the service they provide. You really understand whether a place has a good service level when you need help. We forgot one piece of luggage at the lodge and it was extremely y to return to pick it up. The host went out of his way to arrange to have it delivered to my airport hotel, paid for it himself and I just had to make a simple bank transfer. There was no way i could have arranged it myself as a tourist in Japan and his help was invaluable. Beats any experience I have ever had in any other accommodation anywhere in the world. Dōmo arigatō!

We had a great stay here and would happily stay again. Above all, the staff were wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is an easy walk from Kyoto station. We stayed in a family apartment and the room was big by Japanese standards including a good size dining table and a small kitchen. The onsite laundry was handy. There was no breakfast at the hotel but there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

It’s hard to fault this hotel. The only thing I could say is that mattress was a little too firm for me.
