It was just right for our needs. Friendly staff. Central location.

Ideally situated in town centre. Heating only came on during our second night of our stay. Pub is undergoing some refurbishment so will only get better. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our stay was during a very busy halloween celebration so this affected the stay. The pub itself was noisy though this did not affect the accommodation and the room was very quiet Overall we would use the same accommodation and would recommend the venue.

Excellent stay, reviewed before we landed and they were not good. We thought they were rubbish as we found nothing wrong with the place. Lovely pub, room and very friendly staff & customers in the pub. We heard no noise at all even though it was a busy Saturday night with music going on. Would definitely recommend 💯

Me & a work colleague stayed for 3 nights over a weekend while working night shift at a local power station. It’s a pub so if you want silence it’s not for you. The rooms were basic but clean, there’s a main bathroom on the landing & a fridge and microwave for guests to use. All the staff were very friendly & helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Probably more suited to contractors working in the area. I would gladly stay here again. Lovely pint of John Smith’s in the bar as well!!

Rooms are nothing like the pictures, dirty and half the furniture in them is broken. Very unhelpful staff. 1 was told not to give my room key back as the money hadnt gone through yet however it had left my account so i was being punished for a fault their end. Bed was comfy though. My advice pay the extra and stay at the travelodge.

Don’t expect too much from this hotel it’s above a lively boozer. It was fine for a one night stay. Very dated but did the job

Terrible. The bar is not clean. I did not actually get to the room as the barman was so indifferent he would rather pull pints than show me the room.
