The hotel was first class. I would have no hesitation to recommend it. They were tops in customer satisfaction, and could not be more helpful. The staff never used the word “no” and nothing was too much trouble. They bent over backwards to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. The location was superb and near to everything in the old city.

This property is located in the core of the palace compound, and is feet away from all activities and superb food and beverage purveyors. My family and I experienced true hospitality from Ivan, Evita and Jeronim. They left no questions unanswered. They were prompt, communicative and efficient, yet gentle. I wish I could say the most amazing part of my experience was being able to look out at the belltower of the cathedral as it rang while enjoying total peace and luxury. Instead, I’m wondering when I will book again. Do not hesitate to book this place!

Such a nice Boutique Hotel. Right in center of Palace. A little hard to find at first as the entry is a narrow stairs, but well worth the short search. Room was spacious, and beautifully appointed. Restaurants all around. The breakfast was rather nice indeed.

My daughter and I stayed at the Heritage Hotel Cardo for two nights in April 2025. It is located inside the old Diocletian's Palace so it does not get more central. Everything else was also perfect. Will definitely recommend.

The hotel is situated in a prime position in Old Town Split, with the Palace, shops and restaurants being easily accessible The rooms are tastefully decorated in keeping with the age of the building. The staff are extremely warm and welcoming, and they go out of their way to ensure your every need is catered for, with a genuine interest in helping you to make the most out of your stay.

This was the perfect place to stay in Split, just steps from the center of the old town and a very short walk to the harbor. The room was lovely and very comfortable. The concierges were all helpful and one of them, Ivan, helped me find and book the most amazing place to stay outside of Plitvice Park for our next stop. He called them personally to arrange a better price than what was on offer. Then he printed out detailed driving directions because we were strugging with out GPS. Over and beyond service. If we ever return to Split, we will stay there again.
