    If you appreciate heritage architecture and want a relaxed stay, this place is for you. We had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are large, with antique tiles and furniture. They have all the necessary amenities, good breakfast& friendly staff. Any place in George Town - like museums, jetties, Batik stores, cafes & restaurants is a short walk and Grab taxis are also very easy to get. Street food hawkers are literally next door and a some good restaurants are located nearby.

    Hotel at a really central n convenient location with plenty of eateries n snacks anytime of the day .. the daily 3-5 pm afternoon tea is a great touch n staffs r friendly n helpful .. value for money for sure

    The staff were excellent from the moment we entered The hotel itself looks vintage and you feel like royalty of early 1900s The room size itself was a tad small for 2 people but it was cozy enough Cleanliness is top notch and the evening coffee + snacks had decent variety Loved our stay and definitely will be our go to place when we visit Penang again!

    I appreciate many aspects of the hotel, including its theme, the furnishings, and the overall room aesthetic, which combines modern and classical elements. If any improvements could be made, perhaps it would be regarding the hallway light that shines directly into my bedroom. There is a large mirror situated between my bedroom and the bathroom, and another mirror is located between the bathroom and the hallway. Although the lights are dimmed at night, in the morning around 6 AM when they are turned on, the brightness is intense and directly affects my bedroom. I would appreciate it if the mirror in the bedroom could be covered, perhaps with curtains. As this is not a high-rise building, you may hear people walking on the road or cars driving past at night. Additionally, the toilet window appears to be positioned too low and facing the hallway. While there is CCTV coverage nearby to detect potential peeping, this should not pose an issue as the window can be closed from the inside. Others, all members of the staff are notably friendly and professional in their work. They are generous with their smiles, which I greatly appreciate. One more, the breakfast provided was truly worthwhile, both in terms of the generous portion size and the delicious taste.
