    Place is very clean and well kept. Unique architecture. Very nostalgic interiors. Got lots of places to take lovely photos. We were also pleasantly surprised to see that they provide a simple breakfast, coffee, fruit and bread/toast. Beware, there are lots of stairs and no elevators. I saw the staff helping an older guest carry her suitcase down, so u might be able to request the same service if u need it. Beautiful views from the verandah. Under 12 year olds aren't allowed to stay, as stated at the reception counter. So, it doesn't suit young families. Teens and older children is okay. I had a lovely stay and would recommend the place to others.

    We booked 2 bedrooms and the room looks clean. But the 2 shower rooms, 1 of the heater is not functioning. And one of the sink is not functioning well, water flew out too slow.

    1. Plaster bagworm Plaster bagworm on the wall of the room with one or two falling on the bed 2. Towels Worn out and brown. Although we hang the towel after use, it is never dried after we hang over night. Request to change the towel on daily basis was not met 3. Air condition In the early morning on the 2nd day, air conditioner was dripping water. We off the air cond as it is too annoying - disturb our sleep. This second time of my stay in Marian Boutique Lodge is a real disappointment and is real bad after inviting friends to stay there too
