pros: located inside hanoi old quarter - two blocks away from the nearest circle K convenience store (although not too big) -good breakfast not to many choices but the taste and quality is good (they have menu from which you can choose what you like, like pho beef noodles, eggs benedict etc) but the coffee for us its too sweet and bland 😅 -the staff are really courteous and friendly with really great customer service -their rooms are big and be sure to choose with bathtub for the kids 😆 -walk in distance to most food crawl area in old quarter also near hoan kiem lake and train street 😁 -centralize aircon so definitely cold 😍 we love it since its hot outside during out stay 😅 -they also offer airport transfer for only 400k vnd 👍 cons: the building like most typical buildings in old quarter is quite slim with only three each floors available -dining area for breakfast is also small so be sure to check first for other guests so you will not wait and experience large crowd - our room is upgraded (free) but with no bath tub 😢 so be sure to check first before accepting any room changing - soundproofing is not good so be sure to anticipate it specially if you have neighbor room with lots of guests that maybe noisy and crowded but generally more pros than cons so if you plan to stay here it will be worth it 😁👍❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Luxury Old Quarter. It is very accessible to most interesting landmarks, restaurants, spa, shops at Old Quarter. The staff lead by Linda are all hospitable. They also assist with local tours like Ha Long Bay cruise as well as transfer to/from airport.

As you enter this hotel they have the 9.2 rating displayed proudly. However, that's where the quality ends. The pics on the Agoda site are 4-5 years old at least. The walls were dirty and the wallpaper was peeling and dated. This must have been a great looking hotel at one time, but they're not keeping it up. The gym was more of a storage room than anything. Our fridge was slightly cooler than room temperature and the elevator stopped working just as we were leaving. I was expecting a much better quality place for this price, but was very disappointed. Agoda: you need to get this hotel to update their interior photos. They're currently not representative of what the consumer is paying for. It's not cool. Also, I've tried several times and different formats to upload pictures, but they keep failing. Let me know how I can upload them as people need to see the difference.
