    The Chateau is very French inspired hence the name! The staff have been so accommodating as our Halong Bay cruise was cancelled due to the serve weather conditions at present. We had to get an extra night here to reshuffle our flights etc & they could only fit us in another room which we really appreciated. The staff are really next level, so accommodating. My tsa lock on my suitcase was also jammed, so the maintenance man used an angle grinder to open it!! 😂 With our Bay cruise cancelled & suitcase locked, we really appreciated being able to take shelter in the storm (pardon the pun!) @ Le Chateau Hanoi..thank you beautiful staff 🙏 Christina & Tony Australia 🇦🇺

    Had a lovely two days here before leaving Vietnam after 2 weeks stay travelling around Vietnam. Great hotel in the old quarter, good breakfast to start the day off and wonderful staff who helped us with all requirements to get what we needed before leaving another awesome trip to Vietnam.

    Late check-in at 2am, imagine our surprise at what was supposed to be a five star hotel. We check out the second night because of a Halong Bay tour, but found out I had only booked an "executive" two single beds. We are three people, wife and a son and that is not five star service to me, wasn't offered a room upgrade at all, three people in a two single bed is not adequate so ended up canceling my reservation and got refund. But, to the hotel credit and manager, he did offer us a ride to the airport free of charge from our new hotel to make up for the oversight. You see we are three people and you don't offer to upgrade our room not suitable for us, of course we will not stay, call Agoda and Agoda agreed with me. Credit to the manager for fixing the situation with a free ride to the airport. Hanoi Le Chateau Hotel is not five star, but the on duty manager service is five star, wish he was around earlier to help us with the room upgrade.
