Easy arrival with key box at the front door. Room was spotlessly clean. Only niggle is there was no shampoo/shower gel so had to wash my hair with soap.

Spotlessly clean and perfect room for before an early flight. Everything you needed in the room. Noisy as expected but neither of us failed to sleep and the bed was comfortable. Room was a little tired but we were sleeping in it not buying it. Would definitely stay again. Parking very tight indeed so not for the faint hearted or those who worship their cars.

Very clean and comfortable. In a lovely quiet semi rural area. Convenient for Exeter Airport. Bus service to Exeter City Centre also close. Nearest pub is 1 mile, shops and restaurants further away. However the bus journey from hotel to city centre only takes 30 mins, if you travel by car its not a problem. I enjoyed my stay and will book again

The property was clean but basic, which is fine as it is only meant to be a layover with easy access to Exeter airport. The front door was always being left unlocked and did not shut by itself so security is an issue that should be addressed. Key boxes are excellent but there should be some signage at the front boxes, or emailed instructions, to advise travellers of the whereabouts of the entrance.

Great place to stay before an early morning departure (or late areival I guess!) Easy to get to by bus from Exeter..the 4A from Exeter St Davids stn takes you almost to the door!

Didnt receive enough instruction to find this place in the dark. Key drop box difficult to open once we did find it. Bed not comfortable. Lumpy mattress springs sticking in me. Towels were very clean but very rough and no shower Gel supplied which when youve arrived late from a flight and your toiletries are packed is not ideal, for the price i would have expected better..

Getting the code for our key seemed a mission but it could have been a hotels.com issue and not Fair Oaks. Our room (7) was small especially with big suitcases but it was nice, traffic noise wasn't great from the road outside but we aren't used to it which probably made it worse. We were woken up at 0300 by a loud noise that sounded like water pressure in the house which wasn't great and overall didn't sleep that well with an early flight out to Majorca. Very random but the towels in the room were awful and felt so coarse to use, overall an ok stay which was chosen because the Hilton didn't have availability which was a shame.

Didn’t actually get to stay at the property as we turned up at 10pm and realised it’s just a private flat, no obviously signs / way to check in. We didn’t have check-in details, apparently it was on the invoice which was not obviously apparent when first received and then there’s no signal in the area to even check the invoice for said code. There were no sign of key boxes, no info on what room in the building we were meant to be staying in. After doing laps of the building and annoying a local resident who also lived in the building (as we accidentally walked into his private property) we decided to cut our losses and walk 20 mins in the pitch black to a Hilton near by & spend an additional £105, getting there at nearly 11pm. I’d avoid this property like the plague, yes seems like a great spot to be close to the car hire but it’s not worth the stress and tears. I can see from other reviews (wish I read them ahead of time) that people have experienced issues just like mine before, so I really have no idea why the owner doesn’t look into rectifying it!

Excellent location for the airport. Quite difficult to find a place to eat on the night of my stay. Also the parking rules were not easy to follow.

Rooms are spacious and well presented. Minor gripes are sticky patch on the floor, plug not fitting in the bathroom sink and toilet the brush handle was snapped in half in one of the rooms.

Close to the A30 so traffic noise is constant and window remained open due to the exceptional heat.Room was a good size although the toilet/shower room was tiny, sink was a corner one and really small.Overall it was very good for the price and location.

There's a barrier. Without trying it, we entered via the airport car hire return entrance, removed a cone and entered that way. There could have been more info regarding entrance. The rest was very good, straightforward entrance, clean, spacious and comfortable room. It's on s busy road but that's not the hotel's fault.

Easily accessible, friendly staff, comfortable and sizeable room. Fair bit of road noise if the windows are open but that’s expected being by busy roads. Nice property would stay again
