Honestly when we initially booked the reviews were all good, but we should’ve double checked the closer it got to our travel date. Warning that this place is not at all like the pictures they provided depicted. Room was smaller than expected and there was mold present around the windows, and in the bathroom. There were also random stains everywhere. If you’re looking for a real budget friendly place and in a good location go for it, but it just wasn’t for us. I will note that the staff were very friendly and accommodating, they even offered to change our room, but instead we opted for the refund that was for the rest of our stay. Safe travels

We stayed for 8 nights, and the location was excellent! It’s near subway lines 2, 4, and 5, with plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, coffee shops, a grocery store, malls, a playground, and DDP nearby. The area is also less crowded than Hongdae and Myeongdong, which we appreciated. It’s also convenient for tour meet-up points for trips to Nami Island and the DMZ, as well as the airport limousine bus. The housekeeping staff were nice and accommodating. Free breakfast includes toast, cereals, milk, juice, and coffee. You can also cook in the shared kitchen and use the microwave. Other

Stayed for 4D3N. Overall a “decent” place to stay in that is near DDP and near train stations to go the touristy areas. There was one night we didn’t have hot water and upon checking with the counter they said it just wasn’t working. They don’t do housekeeping if staying lesser than 3 days. Has one laundry machine put a decent space to hang the laundry but first come first serve. So we had to wash our clothes only after midnight when everyone’s asleep. Breakfast was okay. It was just cereals bread butter jam and need to wash the plates you used.. recommend only for short stays since it’s affordable

I had a very unpleasant experience with the receptionist during check-out, and her attitude was honestly frustrating and disappointing. This is my 3rd time visiting South Korea, and I've stayed in various hotels, guesthouses, and other accommodations in Seoul, Busan, and Ulsan. Unfortunately, this was one of my more unpleasant experiences when it came to customer service. Before checking out, I brought one of the weighing scales provided by the hotel into my room to sort out my luggage. I then went down to the third floor, where the reception area is located, with my luggage to store it temporarily. I intended to return to my room to put the weighing scale back afterward. However, as soon as the receptionist saw me, she immediately proceeded with the check-out process. When I explained that I needed to go back to my room to return the weighing scale, she visibly showed her frustration and told me that I should not have brought it into my room in the first place. First of all, there were 3 weighing scales on the third floor. Only the black one had an explicit instruction stating, “Do not move it to any places.” The other 2 simply had instructions to return them to their original location near the elevator. If the hotel does not allow guests to bring the weighing scales into their rooms, then this should be clearly stated on all of them to avoid confusion. Second, is it really reasonable to expect guests to repeatedly go up and down just to sort out their luggage? I would have completely understood if all 3 weighing scales had the same clear instructions prohibiting guests from bringing them into their rooms. The issue was not about following the rules but it was about the lack of clear instructions and, more importantly, the way the receptionist handled the situation. To make matters worse, the check-out time was 11:00 AM, and I arrived at the reception approximately 7-8 minutes late. The receptionist immediately insisted that I pay an additional fee and even explained the check-out time to me in a sarcastic manner. I understand that hotel policies are hotel policies, and I have no problem paying a fee when it is applicable. However, there is a difference between enforcing rules professionally and making guests feel uncomfortable through an unnecessarily rude and condescending attitude. What upset me most was not the additional fee or being reminded of the rules, but the receptionist’s lack of courtesy and consideration. Room Review The room was quite small, dusty, and not properly cleaned. The facilities were very basic, and the walls seemed incredibly thin. I could even hear the sounds of lights or switches being turned on and off in the neighboring room, which made the stay less comfortable. The location is good, which is a plus. However, the room’s cleanliness, soundproofing, and especially the customer service left a lot to be desired.
