LifeIn Euljiro

Our stay at Life in Euljiro was honestly one of the best decisions we made during our Korea trip. The place was impressively clean, which is always one of the first things I notice when traveling. I also loved how convenient everything was. The hotel is fully digitalized, so you simply receive your room password and head straight to your room. No long check-in process, no waiting, just smooth and hassle-free. The location was amazing. It's only a minute away from Euljiro 3-ga Station and surrounded by convenience stores, restaurants, and great local spots. Euljiro itself is such a nice neighborhood to stay in. We were able to walk to Myeongdong and Jongno, and honestly, we spent most of our trip exploring Seoul on foot because everything felt so accessible. The facilities were great for the price, and the owner was very responsive and accommodating whenever we had questions or concerns. We once had an issue with a loud neighbor, and they were quick to assist us. Since it's a budget hotel, it's important to have realistic expectations, but I genuinely think it offers great value for money. They provide essentials like a hair dryer, and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you're a remote worker or VA, just note that there isn't a work table inside the room, so working comfortably for long hours might be a bit challenging. There's also no bidet, which may matter to some travelers. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. For the price, it's hard to find something this clean, convenient, and well-located. If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be adding a complimentary clothes steamer for guests. Other than that, we had a really great stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights, it was the perfect location with it being walkable distance from the busyness of myeodong and the subway station. It has a great clean shared space too would really recommend

I arrived after the ridiculously long flight to find my bathroom had not been cleaned. The toilet seat was up with a black “marking/smudge” on it. The floor was completely soaked, as if someone had just grabbed the shower nozzle and sprayed it all down and did not wipe it down and there was a long black hair hanging from the sink absolutely disgusting. How could I trust The rest of the room was clean after seeing that? They refused to refund me and took way too long to reply even though they did offer to have someone come and clean it.. that was two hours after I had arrived and waited three hours to enter the room, because supposedly they were diligently “cleaning” until 3 PM. I’m still upset I didn’t get my money back. It was a cool neighborhood for a backpacker, but not any reason I would stay in this area. You can easily get a taxi and visit it to see the cool neon signs stay..away from this area.
