Great location. Parking was a bit tricky and very expensive. Rooms were clean and basic but fine. Shared bathroom was fine too.

It’s a lovely hostel with lots of charm and kind folks who are helpful and giving of their time.
If you’re looking for character, guitars to play, comfy places to sit, and an unpretentious spot with access to the best of Edinburgh, this is your spot.
There’s a great co-op across the street with organic produce and lots of vegan-friendly food. That’s a plus.

Our room was super clean and comfortable, we slept well. The kitchen is really beautiful m, very clean, and had a lovely view of a garden. We had all the amenities we needed. Liked the location near the university and a break from all the crowds/tourists.
