The hotel is located next to a mall and opposite the hotel there are many dining options hence 5-star for location. The rooms were big and comfortable though the front desk could be friendlier and the bellboy could have been more helpful and hospitable. I had difficulty in pushing the door as it's heavy and with luggage, it was a challenge but none offered any help (whether front desk or bellboy). However, the staff at the restaurant were excellent. They were always cheery and help was often rendered without asking.

I recently stayed at The Lin Hotel and had a pleasant experience. While the hotel itself is a bit older, it is well-maintained and offers a comfortable stay. The highlight of my visit was definitely the breakfast. The breakfast buffet was incredible, with a wide variety of food choices to suit different tastes. There were plenty of options available, and everything was fresh and delicious, making it a great way to start the day. The staff were also friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. If you're looking for a hotel with an excellent breakfast selection and comfortable accommodations, The Lin Hotel is definitely worth considering.

We stayed in this hotel before a few years ago, the service was brilliant back then henceforth we have chosen this hotel to stay again. But our experience this time was bad. Other than the clean facilities and the great location, otherwise is not recommended. We were advised to bring our luggage up ourselves to our room as they are short of staff. The breakfast restaurant staff are the worst, those at the live stations, they just stare blankly at you with black faces, all of them, like you owe them money. When you ask them a question they replied very unwillingly. Food was not replenished timely. The staff clearing the plates is weird as well, they just remove your plates as and when they like without asking whether do you still need them etc. We lost one of our ear pods infront of the hotel porch, instead of offering to help us find, the staff at the front door only stood there and looked at us, not like they were busy or something. In summary we will not stay there again. The hotel staff needs serious training.
