The room was cozy, spotless and at a great location; spatial, compared to relugar business hotel; the staff onsite were attentive and helpful.
One of the staff even helped me to make reservations at a local restaurant because I didn't speak Japanese :) and I had a great dinner and conversation with the host and fellow diners with the very limited Japanese I have + Google Translate ha.
The onsite onsen was a cherry on top. I replaced morning run with morning hot spring - what a great way to start the day of excursion .
I will stay here again next time visiting Kagoshima.

Everything was great. The room was spacious. Old charm. The food was spectacular. I loved my stay there. Food was great and service was excellent.

Hotel is quite old but well maintained and clean with very helpful and friendly staff. Though it has the word onsen in its name, the hotspring was a disappointment with only one hotspring pool and nothing else, not even an external hotspring pool. But the hotel is very well located with the Tenmonkan Shopping Districr just beside it. Driving to the Sakurajima Ferry Terminal only takes five minutes, and many dining places are within a ten-min walking radius.
