A wonderful cottage! Elaine was welcoming and very informative about local attractions and restaurants. The cottage was clean and fully furnished. It was walking distance to Pompano Beach and all the are has to offer. We would absolutely recommend Cottages by the Ocean.

The place is very nice! The grounds are beautiful, the cottage I stayed in (queen studio) was clean, well maintained and had a lot of homey touches. Elaine is an amazing hostess! She is very helpful, friendly and creative. Each cottage has its own parking space. The beach is a two block walk and Elaine provides supplies to spend a day at the beach. I wish I had been there for a vacation so I could have taken advantage of all that was offered. There is construction going on as the area is growing fast, but you don’t hear any of it. If I visit area again I’d definitely stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cottages by the Ocean and will happily stay again. My wife's first comment when we stepped inside was, 'What a great little find!" While the interiors are obviously a bit dated (which really only adds to their charm) they are impeccably clean and the tropical landscaping is beautifully maintained. Communication from the owner, Elaine, was wonderful. Timely, complete and very personal. Elaine, Chrysie (housekeeping) and Jaime (maintenance) were so helpful, very friendly and genuinely made us feel that our satisfaction was their only priority. Very highly recommended.

Beautiful place to relax, and to have dinner on the porch. The Cottages exude calmness and harmony. The staff were excellent, the kitchen had everything one need to cook a nice meal. The AC, TV, Wi-FI worked very well. Comfortable beds. Beach is just 5 min away, and Walgreens , Publix and restaurants are in walking distance.

Very nice cottage, with a kitchen. Pots, pans, plates, knives, silverware all in sufficient quantities. Walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants. Rusty Hook restaurant is about 3 blocks away, excellent food there. Two blocks from a great dive shop (South Florida Diving HQ).

Lovely property, our 1-bedroom apartment was very comfortable and very quiet - it felt like we were staying with a family member. Welcome instructions were very clear and comprehensive. Anything you could possibly need comes with the apartment (with the exception of coffee, which we should have thought to bring ourselves). Had a great time!

There was nothing I didn't like. Mangement is friendly and most helpful, grounds were well kept, easy walk to ocean, clean rooms, and quite neighborhood, and parking just outside yard. I would stay here again!

This is the nicest place I ever stayed in. Everything you could need was thoughtfully provided and the whole team were very welcoming and helpful. Lots of tips too about activities and places to eat. But the accommodation itself was so lovely it was enjoyable just to stay in sometimes.

We had an awesome time at Cottages by the Ocean! The cottage is located a few blocks from everything in Pompano, so you’re close enough to walk to everything! I will definitely be returning!

We loved every minute of this stay. The cottage was very clean, filled with all the amenities including everything needed in the kitchen, beach chairs and umbrella, and a few extras. Great location near the beach and the staff was great. Highly recommend!

Fabulous location a block from the beach. Walkable to many restaurants on the ocean and inlet. A quaint cottage studio apartment adorably decorated. The owner is wonderful and very responsive.

Very clean (the place shines). Good size one room tiny house. Nice kitchen with all you need. The reception/check in at 4pm and check out at 10am but the housekeeping Lady Doan was flexible and very helpful. The only change/improvement that We suggest is to install an a/c unit in the bedroom because in july can be hot. The other is to retouched paint for example in the bathroom door. We Will return. Thank you

The owner and staff were excellent. Very helpful with information about the local area and events. They were very proactive when it came to making our stay as trouble free as possible. I don’t think you can find move value for your lodging budget than Cottages by the Ocean. Would highly recommend it to anyone. Definitely not our last visit.

Pineapple Cottage was great for what I needed for this shorter stay, separate living and sleeping areas, clean, and convenient to beach,restaurants and not too far from many shopping venues.

This worked out wonderful for our family in which we have 2 small children. We realized after our trip that having a pool would have been ideal but the cottage was clean, kitchen area was perfect for feeding small children and the short walk (5minutes) to the beach was just the right amount of steps to unwind and relax.

Perfect cottage in a very short distance to the beach, supermarket and street connection to the mainland with interstate highways and located on the coastal A1A road to Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale. Always a recommendable location for a familiy holiday in an own private cottage with a very nice decoration.

Loved these little cottages. They are so perfectly maintained and comfortable. I felt like I was at home. I loved spending time on the screen porch in the late afternoon with a cop of coffee. Wonderful stay at Cottages by the Ocean. 2 blocks from one of the best beaches in S. Florida, with lots of restaurants nearby. Make sure to talk with Elaine, the owner, for recommendations on all sorts of activities in the area. Cottages is on a secluded side street and very quiet. The place was very clean and well-kept, with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bath. Very nice place.
