The main reason for booking a house was to have access to a nice pool. The pool was littered with debris and the host said the pool is cleaned once a week. The blue chair cushions were also black - probably mildew. A reasonable host would have scheduled the pool to be cleaned before we checked in since we were staying for a week but instead the pool was cleaned the day before we checked out. Even after cleaning, the pool was still dirty so much that we didn’t even want to get into it. When I reached out to host about the poor cleaning job of which the cleaner spent less than one hour cleaning the host sent me a picture of the “clean pool” from the entrance to the yard - far enough away that you couldn’t see what was in the pool. The back porch area was where we spent most of our time outside. Inside the cabinets are extremely low quality where they reverberate anytime you close them. The light switches also kept falling off. The water pressure in the showers were super low and water never got very hot. Also immediately after checkout I realized I had left my charger and requested to go get it. Host didn’t respond until the next day and refused to let me back in. After several attempts to arrange for a time to come back to the house the host just completely stopped responding. I offered different days where I could come back to FLL from Miami and received no response. Would not recommend this place unless you just need a place to sleep in FLL.

Upon arriving after 8p to the residence, we were met with a lizard on the master bedroom ceiling. No biggie, we caught him and put him outside. My partner went to shower in the second bathroom. The toilet and shower water was yellow and the shower drained so slow that it filled around his ankles. I immediately messaged Eric the host to let him know. I then went to shower in the master bathroom where we had three lizards in the master shower and a large amount of long hair and a lid to something sitting on the shower drain. I was disgusted. I immediately messaged Eric again. He explained the water was yellow because it’s hard water then messaged me “Tiffany what do you want? You can leave and we will refund you the nights you didn’t stay. I expressed I wasn’t looking for a refund I wanted him to send someone to clean the place. Long story short he made excuses claiming previous guests for the tub, lizards, and uncleanliness. Told me his cleaning crew is exceptionally and kept telling me I could leave. Never once offered to come clean or see the pictures that I took. We were grossed out and had to clean the place ourselves. Had we been able to leave, we would have. Eric is disrespectful, unprofessional, argumentative and unwavering. Highly do not recommend. Also the place smelled old like a wet basement and towels provided were mildewed

The pool area was excellent and the house is in a great location. Communication with the host could have been better in terms of having information provided proactively and in terms of responsiveness, but this was nothing that would stop us from booking the house again.

We really liked the patio and grill area and the pool. We hosted a few friends and everyone had plenty of room. The kitchen was beautiful and great for food prep but could have been a little better stocked with dishes and utensils. Other than that it was lovely!

Came to FL for the World Baseball Classic and wanted to stay in Ft. Lauderdale. Great location. Enjoyed the pool and outdoor seating area.

We spend our first family vacation with our 7 months old baby here and it was perfect. Eric, the host is extremely personable and friendly. Brand new dryer and washing machine, a huge kitchen and a beautiful pool area were mom‘s highlights. Dad and uncle enjoyed their morning coffee on the swing and the comfy couch in the evenings. Close to the airport and beaches. A Publix is just 5 minutes away. Super calm neighborhood. We will come back!
