Staff helpful for checking in and getting us situated. Shower door would not close completely. Toilet with nice bidet. AC in room worked great, nice and cold. Lobby is warm (I suspect to save energy costs). Free coffee, tea, and water station in lobby. They have a check in/out machine for after hours arrival/departure. Wifi was spotty. There was a sign in the room stating free beer for hotel guests at the bar around the corner, but we missed the allotted time.

A dated facility with excellent service and attention to customers. If you want convenience this is it - a block from the Taipei Station.
A couple of things to note - our room has no windows which is fine. We also noted the beds are not long - our son is 170cm and he had to dangle his feet a bit which is not too bothersome for him but it maybe for some.
Other than that we love the fact the hotel could group order traditional Taiwanese breakfast and have it delivered to the hotel (you have to pick it up) so you don't need to wait 45 min at the premise.

The room and bed are big but the rooms aren’t too clean. Bathroom has molds and we found a cockroach in the bathroom. Pillows are old. Bed is comfy. For the price and size, it is good, but if you want a place without mold then pick a different place.
