We had a great experience with Dr. Wall and staff at The Stephen Williams House. The location in the historic downtown district is excellent, and the house is a wonderful, fully restored 1834 Federal mansion. The host was born and raised in Savannah and is a delightful font of historical information, including both what you might find in the history books and what you won't, including all about "the book!" Highly recommended. And parking is included, which is a real plus, though we walked everywhere we went (except Bonaventure Cemetery and Tybee Island).

This is a beautiful, historic, house. Doc was a treasure, offering suggestions for enjoying Savannah to the fullest. He served delicious breakfast, which always featured treasured recipes from Savannah’s past.
It is perfectly located, within walking distance of historic downtown as well as the Riverfront shops and restaurants.
We thoroughly enjoyed the beauty and gracious hospitality.

What an amazing place. A totally different experience. The Doc is a real character and it was great to meet him. Don’t stay in a hotel, stay here.
