Great location in Savannah. Breakfast was good. Staff was very nice.
We were in the carriage house third floor which involved going up two flights of outdoor stairs. We would have preferred to be in the main house. Room was only adequate.

I had a lovely stay at Foley Inn. The location is perfect for walking everywhere, and breakfast was fresh, healthy, and served by friendly staff.
Parking is an extra daily cost unless you book their package, but I was able to find street parking behind the inn without much trouble.
Overall, a charming spot, just double check your booking and any promised credits.
There was a mixup with my reservation, and the room I booked months in advance was unavailable. I was given a different room up 3 flights with no elevator. Not a dealbreaker, but disappointing.
The innkeeper offered a credit for the difference, which was fair, but I had to follow up a few times to receive it.

The location was great; walking distance to so many sights, restaurants, etc. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good.

Clean, big room. Comfortable bed. Most of the staff bends over backwards to accommodate the guests.
Paperthin wall separating our room on the top floor from the other one. The first night was fine because no one was there, but the second night was terrible. We could hear everything they said. Luckily I had some earplugs. The hotel also appears to be very run down, "shabby genteel", bad renovation and ancient bathroom fixtures. An error with the towel bar installation meant there was no towel bar. No hooks in the bathroom. Weird decor, lighting, etc. sorry I didn't take pictures.
Also, breakfast was nice but their front door attendant insisted on playing his very bad music in the common room which disturbed us. When we asked him not to do it, he said everyone else wanted it, when there were only two couples in the space.
