    Lovely helpful staff, well organised and friendly. Room lovely, clean and comfortable. Great toiletries. Obviously it’s a lively holiday location no point expecting it to be a quiet place.

    I stayed at Yelf's hotel on 10 May 2026. This was part of a 10 day UK trip. I spent 6 nights in 2 hotels in London and 2 nights in a hotel in Hull and 1 night in a house in Portsmouth, but my stay at Yelf's hotel in Isle of Wight was my favourite hotel amongst all the UK hotels I stayed at in my UK trip. The room was big and beautiful and it had a working heater in the cupboard, which was a very very big deal for me. because I come from a tropical country so I feel cold even in Springtime in UK. My only gripe was i had to pull my luggage uphill to get to the hotel from the bottom of the road, and in addition, there was no lift for the luggage at the hotel. But the staff were helpful and professional, the food at the hotel was excellent and the dining areas within the hotel were cosy and comfortable, and well decorated. I noticed the soap they gave was also of very high quality. Well done and keep up the high standards!

    We stayed at Yelf’s Hotel for one night — the room was very large and decently priced, though the décor is definitely dated, with creaking floors and some peeling wallpaper. That said, the staff were genuinely helpful and even let us park right outside the front door, which was much appreciated. A charming old-school stay if you don’t mind a bit of wear and tear.
