This was a great hotel. Clean, very nice Onsen. The location was perfect! On a quiet street but just a few minutes walk to Harajuku and about 10 minutes walking to get to Shibuya station.

Unfortunately, our experience at Dormy Inn Shinjuku was extremely disappointing. The check-in experience was particularly unpleasant. The staff came across as dismissive and unfriendly, including rolling their eyes at us during the process. After a long day of travelling, this was not the welcome we expected. The hotel facilities are very basic at best and did not live up to our expectations. More concerning was the cleanliness of our bathroom, which was not properly cleaned when we arrived. In fact, we experienced cleaner and better-maintained facilities in 7-Eleven and FamilyMart stores during our time in Japan. For the price and reputation of the hotel, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and customer service. Unfortunately, neither was there. There are plenty of other hotels in Shinjuku, and based on our experience, I would recommend staying elsewhere.

I visited this hotel 3 years ago, felt very good food and sauna, this way I booked again. I guess they sold some of hotel to another owner , the breakfast area and sauna became so small, in front of hotel is full of garbage. So disappointed of the changing. Compare with other dormy inn, this one totally not worth it.
