We really enjoyed our stay at Buri Rasa Village Phangan. The hotel is beautiful, cozy and located directly on a lovely beach. The whole atmosphere is very relaxed and peaceful. The staff were always friendly, kind and helpful, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. We also loved the little village just outside the hotel, with restaurants, small shops and massage places nearby. It was very convenient, especially when travelling with teenagers. Overall, we had a wonderful time here and would definitely recommend this hotel. We would be happy to come back!

A three night stay that was extended twice, because we were having such a nice time. Beautiful beach, brilliant staff, great rooms and facilities. Couldn’t fault Buri Rasa!

We recently stayed at Buri Rasa and, unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to our expectations. The positives first: the location is beautiful, with a lovely beach that is definitely one of the hotel’s biggest assets. I’d also like to give a special mention to ‘Mild’ on reception, who provided outstanding service throughout our stay. She was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, making us feel genuinely cared for. Sadly, the rest of our experience was disappointing. The breakfast and restaurant staff often seemed moody and unwelcoming, which made us feel uncomfortable enough that we chose not to dine in the restaurant for dinner during our stay. Service on the beach was also poor—we were either ignored or made to feel like we were inconveniencing staff whenever we requested anything. We ended up going to the hotel next door as the service was so much better! The pool area lacked comfortable places to relax, with only a couple of sunbeds and no real seating area. Our room layout was also inconvenient, as the bed was pushed up against the wall, making it difficult to get in and out—particularly as I am recovering from a leg injury. We were also surprised by how expensive the hotel’s transport was compared with other transport options available elsewhere on the island. Overall, although the setting is lovely and the reception team, especially Mild, were excellent, the overall atmosphere and level of service did not feel luxurious. We were disappointed enough that we decided to leave one night early rather than complete our planned stay.
