    Good welcome on arrival and shown fire escape route etc. That’s a big plus in my book straight away. Room was clean and everything provided for a good overnight stay. Food was excellent and Real Ale very well kept. Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be back next year.

    Booked to stay here as nowhere nearer the dive site was available. Initially I thought it was a bit pricey but when we were shown the room, which was small but perfect for our stay, and then discovered the staff were friendly, helpful, and fun, and then found the cuisine was probably the best in the area I ran out of reasons to look elsewhere. Positively one of my favourite hotel breaks in spite of dubious weather. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. I will definitely be going back if I can get in. I expect word will get around that the new management is making things work which could make it tricky!

    The Three Tuns was everything you could want from a stay in a country hotel. From the great atmosphere and welcoming staff, to the cosy room and extremely comfortable bed, we felt completely at home. The landlady, a delightful Scottish lady named Elizabeth, made us feel like family...and the food was delicious! You couldn't want for more.

    on arrival we were welcomed by one of the owners with such warmness & shown to our spotless room, after a great & so comfortable nights sleep we showered & went down to the best breakfast we've ever had served by the nicest man you would want to meet we would recommend both hotel & people without hesitation
