Alicante San Nicolás

This was our first trip to Alicante, and after a lot of research decided on San Nicolas Pension. Before we arrived Caroline the owner was in contact with us with useful information on regarding information and the options of different types of transport from the airport. We decided on the C6 airport bus which runs every 15 minutes and cost us €4.50 each and took about 20 mins and then a short walk to the Pension. On arrival we were welcomed by Caroline who is super friendly and gave us a little map of the most popular points of interest and the beach, all that are within a very short walk from the Pension which was so useful. We were very happy with our room with a private bathroom and balcony. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included, by means of vouchers that were provided which you exchange in a Cafe which is just a couple of minutes walk around the corner, and was very nice indeed. Caroline also gave us a list of some great local restaurants and bars which we loved. All in all this place is in a perfect location and great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it and we will definitely be re booking in the near future for another few days in Alicante.

Great place to stay in the heart of Alicante. The room was clean, tidy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The communal fridge was also very useful. I would stay here again - the highlight is the location (just a few minutes walk to the major attractions and beach)

We had a lovely stay. The location is great, short distance to everything, the beach, Stores, restaurants etc. We were very pleasantly surprised of how nice it was for the price, especially since we had to book it last minute. The rooms were clean and practical, working aircondition in the room but also the common room,a shared kitchen area with coffee, microwave and your own shelf in the fridge for food and drinks. I would really recommend buying with breakfast included, the breakfast is at a cafe right next to the pension with the most amazing breakfast and lunch. We didn’t get breakfast included, but we still ate breakfast and lunch there every day because it was the most amazing food.
