The owners/staff were friendly and helpful despite there being no reception area for check-in. The location was central (in or near historic Muslim quarter).
The value for money was extremely low. Very small room with shared bathroom facilities. A single window facing an internal courtyard. No windows in common areas (as far as I could tell). Thin walls, basic bedding. The pictures are not very representative of the actual experience in my opinion. Lesson learned.
