Well looked after and very clean. Twin room was spacious with comfortable beds. When I checked in I was shown to my room and advised of shower location and kitchen/ lounge. As hostel is fairly small it doesn't have the social vibe of some places. Great location and easy to find.

I loved this hostel! The staff were super friendly and helpful. What I found really cool was that after check-out, they offered the option to still use the facilities, like taking a shower, etc. I left my bag in the locker since my flight was only in the evening. The rooms were great, and the showers too. I definitely recommend this place!

All things are excellent. Nice staff, clean place, great location just next to Santa Bárbara. And you have every thing you need here: nice shower gel, kitchenware, wash machine, hair dryer. I also was surprised they loan me beach umbrella for free!!
I saw many ppl complain about the shower, it’s the only thing maybe need to be upgraded for use. I had to push 20+ times or even more times to clean myself:(((((
The only concern is about the aged male guests, it’s not nice to complain the age and gender policies, but somehow they didn’t really behave in the normal way, can be scared a little bit.

Amazingly central location in Alicante, a couple of mins walk away from the Central Market and the old town with tons of restaurants, bar, etc. The beach is maybe 10mins walk away, and it's also right next to the castle. Train station also easily walkable, and there's free street parking nearby. I'm still amazed by the location.
I stayed in a private room (using the shared bathrooms), which was fairly good. Not the quietest setup as there's no carpet or soft furnishings so footsteps and the door opening and closing can always be heard, even if fellow guests were quiet and respectful. The air-con in my room would also make a horrible grating sound every 30-60 mins (just enough to keep waking me up).
Faciltiies were all functional and clean, but if you're looking for a social vibe kinda hostel (I wasn't really) then this isn't that kind of hostel - no organised activities etc. Just go to one of the many bars and make some friends if that's your thing.
Staff weren't often around or just kept to themselves.
