I booked around 10pm and arrived almost 12 bec of my delayed flight. They allowed me stay and check in that late. Hotel was a bit old but very ok for my stay. Thanks guys!

I booked 12 rooms for Oct 15-17 for our office’s activity. Since I, together with two companions, came a day early, I had to separately book two rooms for Oct 14-15. All bookings were under my name. Upon check-in on October 14, I informed the staff about my other booking of 12 rooms. I said that I may present my reference for the said booking. She said that there is no need because they can easily check. I also asked her that if possible I would no longer change rooms and not check-out because there is a subsequent booking. The staff said yes. After checking in, we brought our things to Room ***. Then we had decided to go downstairs to check the establishments around. When we got back and before I could even open my room’s door, I could hear the phone ringing. It was the front desk staff. She informed me that Rooms *** were already booked and so we have to check-out the next day. I asked her if there are no other twin rooms that the other guest could get because upon my check-in, my subsequent booking was already affirmed and I was informed that I don’t have to change rooms or do check-out. Over the phone, she was firm in saying that the two rooms that we got, even if not near each other, were exactly the rooms that were booked by another guest. I was already getting frustrated at this time. I called again to advise them to confirm if we really have to check out the next day so we can pack early because we have an early activity. A male front desk staff again said that we have to check out. I was really so disappointed. I had planned of cancelling the 12 rooms but they were already paid. When I informed them of my plan about cancelling the said 12-room reservation, the male staff changed the previous advice. We were suddenly advised stay in the same room and no need to check out. I had decided to continue with the 12-room booking for our companions who would be arriving later than us. My 2 companions and I had decided to book another hotel. I didn’t want to be in that hotel anymore. Upon checking out, I was informed at the front desk that I don’t have to because we’ll not be changing rooms. I said that the 3 of us would transfer to another hotel. Grabe kahiubos nako ani nga hotel that I don’t want to step on this hotel again. The hotel is old and rooms are big. There’s musty smell, maybe because it’s old. When I dropped by airpods on the floor, one went under the bed. When I tried to get it, I saw that under the bed is so dirty. The hotel’s location is good. Though I was so disappointed with the incident, I was happy that because of that, I got to a very good hotel, the ***. It’s new, strategically located, very clean, professional staff manning the front desk, and there are establishments below the hotel (Starbucks, Yellow Cab, Leylam, Tealive, David’s Teahouse, Laundry shop and Mr DIY).
