    I am truly saddened to share this feedback, especially because this is the first time in many years of traveling and staying in different hotels that I have felt compelled to write such a review. We stayed at Hotel Elizabeth Cebu from August 2–3. After a six-hour bus trip with senior family members, we were hoping for a comfortable and restful stay. We appreciate the efforts of the staff and understand that unexpected issues can happen, but unfortunately our overall experience was disappointing. We encountered several concerns during our stay: * Check-in took much longer than expected after a long journey. * Our room keys did not work and needed to be reactivated multiple times. * One room had visible mold around the air-conditioning unit, requiring a room change. * Both rooms had bathroom cleanliness issues that needed more attention. * One room had a door that was difficult to open and close due to alignment issues. * Some buffet plates the following morning needed wiping before use. We understand that hotels have policies and that facilities naturally age over time. We do not expect everything to be brand new, but cleanliness, maintenance, and a smooth guest experience are important parts of hospitality. We hope Hotel Elizabeth Cebu takes this feedback constructively and reviews its service, housekeeping, and maintenance standards. We truly hoped for a better stay and hope future guests have a more comfortable experience.
