Great Clean Suite very spacious room. Groceries and restuarants nearby were good and busy with locals. Staff was helpful they are on site for limited hours but available via text or whatsapp. Free laundry service on site (Self serve) washer and dryer worked great

The suites was a great place to stay around Rome. It's a bit far from the general tourist items on foot but is easy to find some public transport (trams, buses, and regional trains). It is a bit of a ways with lots of luggage given the options but definitely worth for long stays as there is great food and connections around. Room was clean and roomy any definitely allowed us to settle in well - aircon was amazing esp. for this weather! The staff were really helpful and even allowed us to stay in the same room despite having two different consecutive bookings. Having the basement laundry (free with all included) and racks to support drying was a godsend especially for a summer trip! Thanks again this was a great stay in Rome!

Located next to the airport railway station which is an advantage to travellers departing/ arriving Rome. The facilities are a bit old and a bit dusty. The air-cons didn’t work at all. Staff just told us to open the window instead, while the noise from street, the nearby restaurants and traffic are the big issue to us as we were assigned to the 2nd floor

Disappointing Experience – Misleading Information and Poor Communication While the hotel itself was clean and offered free access to laundry facilities, our overall experience was disappointing due to several issues that future guests should be aware of. First, the check-in staff were not present at the entrance during the hours stated on their website and pamphlet. They encourage guests to contact them via WhatsApp, but not all staff members were actually on the app, and responses were slow or nonexistent. Our room had a door that didn’t lock properly, and the walls were paper-thin—you could hear everything happening in the adjacent rooms. There were also contradictory claims from the staff. The hotel advertises a breakfast restaurant, but when we arrived, we were told our booking didn’t include breakfast—something we were never informed of beforehand. When we followed up, another staff member claimed they don’t have space for a restaurant at all, even though there was a clearly labeled restaurant right next to the hotel. Lastly, the gym is not free, contrary to what their advertising implies. This, along with the other inconsistencies, created a sense of dishonesty that really soured our stay. If transparency and reliability matter to you, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Great hotel! Close to all main locations. Big room and bed really comfortable. Hotel had a PIN to open the doors so I felt really safe. Had the room cleaned everyday and everything was spot on. Would definitely come back!

Very basic, the pictures really makes the property look fabulous. Kudos to the photographer. If you don’t need much from a hotel. This is your place. No one was ever at check in and the gym. Come on, we are on vacation. When you say we have access to a gym and get there only to have uber restrictions is a joke. They have silly hours and you have to pay extra to use an actual gym. Other wise you have access to a stretching area and out dated weights and that’s all. The plates weren’t even on a rack. So if you did use it, well I guess there’s your workout, picking the plates off the floor! Oh, I didn’t even see a bench!!! I walked out pissed off!!! I’d go some where else.

Check-in was supposed to be from 2-8pm. I arrived at 4:45 and found papers outside the door with guests’ names on them with the access code for the front door. Once inside, there were envelopes with names and room numbers written on the outside and a key inside. Instructions to come to reception the next morning starting at 8am to complete the registration process. We’d be gone by then, as we had an early flight. I tried texting per the instructions left with the key in case there were questions, but no response. Although on the 5th floor, the slider to the balcony didn’t lock and there’s and extra door in the room, which I couldn’t open (maybe for a connecting room?) Mold in the corners of the shower. No place to hang a wet towel in the bathroom, nothing next to the bed on one side where you might be able to set a water bottle, phone or earplugs. You need earplugs for the backup beepers apparently associated with construction equipment working nearby. Never figured out where that was, but we heard it a lot. Really glad my husband was along & I wasn’t at this one by myself. Gave 2 stars because the bed was suitable, we got to the room, did shower and sleep, so we got the basics, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

We enjoyed our 1-night stay. Short walk to train station to go into Rome, and to cafes and restaurants serving authentic Italian food. Cozy apartment with mini kitchen, kitchen table and large balcony with seating. Would be a good home base to explore Rome for a few days or longer.

Convenient location for public transit. Bring your earplugs, that is the only way you will get a soundproof room, you can ear the neighbors and there is a constant hum coming from some industrial plant in the neighborhood even with windows closed. Unfinished gypsum work on bathroom ceiling and peeling paint off wall above shower tiles. Shower door needs repair and entire shower stall has a bad smell. Bathroom fan not working. Not worth what we paid for, I would not stay again.

Don’t stay here. Firstly, the website itself advertises a bar and restaurant, it’s non existent. The rooms are not sound proofed you can hear everything that goes in the hotel. We weren’t told there would be work going on in the hotel and the first morning we had a rude awakening with banging, drilling and shouting. I met 2 members of staff during my stay, a tall man with dark hair who is rude and obnoxious, he knocked on my door and accused me of being too loud on my first night with my partner. The guests on the floor were banging on their doors continuously causing a racket, and then I got accused of it. The location is awful, it’s scummy and scruffy. Hated every minute about staying here.

Luca and Andrea are always helpful and will go the extra mile to make your stay as comfy as possible. You may ask for things which you normally could not at your everyday hotel, and they will fetch something out for you. I had to checkout at 10am but since my flight was at 8pm, they allowed me to stay as long as i would like at no charge. They have a laundry section now, and you can go and do your laundry as if you were at home too!

The active center of the Trastevere neighborhood and its marketplace and dining streets — the part with all the restaurants and cobbled streets — is about a mile away, which is walkable plus easily accessed by transit. The neighborhood around the suites is very residential and quiet, with just a few places to eat (there’s a little kosher takeout place a block away with freshly made ravioli and side dishes you can cook at “home”) , but near several groceries. It’s definitely more real Rome than a tourist area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The suites are small but well laid out and in good shape, with just a little visible wear and tear. The laundry is in the basement, and there are drying racks you can bring to your suite; soap is provided. The kitchenette had everything you need (dishes and cups, cleaning supplies, electric kettle, microwave, toast rack, utensils and knives — a cutting board would have been nice, and note there is no oven, so you can’t bake). This is a good place for a long stay.

Staying at Lungotevere Suites was perfect for our trip...it was exactly as advertised. I was especially impressed with the friendly and very helpful staff as well as the cleanliness of our room and the entire place! Highly recommend if you want a place that is affordable, out of the high tourist areas, close to a train station and bus stops, fitness center, and close to the best food in Rome!

It's right: the first impression of the area around is a rough one, no romantic Rome-feeling at all... But once inside the well designed and bright apt. you feel good: kitchen, bathroom, bed, everything of good quality. Andrea and Paolo are very nice hosts who help where they can, cleaning is fabulous. Shops and busstops around, even the Trastevere-train station. I recommend!
