Paola Guest House

Paula was a wonderful host. She made sure to meet me and explain everything I needed to know about the place and the neighborhood. Their room was good. The other guests were not noisy. There was a kitchen and a table to sit at to have food that you could get at the nearby CONAD. And miraculously the sheets were not washed a scent free detergent. One of the first places in three weeks in Italy, where I did not have to deal with perfumed sheets, and towels. I was very very happy!

The host Paola was amazing. We had a train that was coming in after checkin but she was accommodating. The place is clean and the water pressure was good. Only an eight minute walk to the station to the airport and about 15/20 minute walk (depending how fast you walk) to Trastevere.

Location was close to Trestevere but not in walking distance. Cleanless of the room and common areas is acceptable. The owner was responsive and she appeared at scheduled check-in time.

Staff makes you feel like you come to live in a dormitory instead of B&B because she is reminding every little rules over and over again like where to put dishes etc.. It was quite susprising to me that when i lost my map and ask her again, she refused to give another map by saying that she has inadequate number given. there are plenty of them in every hotel in Rome...I don't remember if the breakfast was included or not however there was some package food was left in the room as a breakfast and they are not replaced in the second day unless you don't ask..Don't expect to find italian cappuciono and fresh stuff there.
