    Great location very close to tenjin underground mall and bus/subway stops. Very friendly staff and smooth check in and out process. Nice bar on the ground floor. Room is very small , unable to open suitcases flat but this is expected. Cleanliness could be improved - some stains seen on toilet seat and around the bins that we had to wipe away.

    We landed at 7 AM off an overnight flight and got to the hotel around 10am, completely dead. Early check-in wasn't available, but reception took our bags straight away with no fuss, so we could go eat ramen in area and walk around Tenjin instead of sitting in an airport. Checked in right at 3 PM, showered, slept, then walked over to the Nakasu yatai for our first proper Fukuoka dinner. Location is the main reason to book this Tenjin puts food and shopping at your door and Nakasu is an easy walk. Only complaint: they hold 3 PM check-in firmly, so plan your first day around it if you arrive on a morning flight.

    Hotel seems modern on the outside however rooms are outdated. Management should also consider renovating the elevator as well as the rooms. Stayed here for 3 nights before heading back home and my stay is just okay. If you have luggage and you want to take the elevator, go to akasaka subway exit 6 but remember that it is quite a walk going to the hotel with heavy luggages from this exit. Nearest exit is 5 if you want to take stairs going up.
