    First, be sure you're at the right Clayton Hotel. There's one adjacent to the airport, and another a few minutes away. Shout out to the shuttle driver who took us to the airport in the morning. He could be an ambassador for Ireland. So friendly, helpful and gracious.

    I booked this hotel due to other reviews. The advantage is the airport shuttle efficiency, however, there are others with large buses going continuously as well. Employees were fine. Room, while large, was fairly outdated and some mold around the tub. I booked this because it said there was air conditioning. There was not. I had to ask for two fans. There's really nothing nearby. I didn't want mediocre hotel Italian food 50 Euros (read the Google reviews), so I went to the only other place nearby, a Circle K with fast food inside. You can cut through the shrubbery. Overall, this place is fine for a night, but lackluster in my experience. If I return to Dublin airport, I'll likely choose another property.
