    They've thought of everything in the room design. Set down area for luggage, a desk, nice big TV on wall, easy soap dispensers all in the right places and a large, comfortable bed. Even a picking chair! Easy walk into the charming and expansive Old Town and also easy walking ti the train/bus station.

    Hotel is fine though it does seem to get tour groups through there which plays havoc with the lifts and also the horses at breakfast.but the rooms are clean and big .i would recommend it

    At first I was not in to the esthetics but this place grew on me. I had booked mostly historic character hotels so one can understand why! The reception staff are great. The restaurant staff accommodated my weird request for mustard… helps relieve leg cramps. The staff member followed up the next morning with “are you ok?” So nice! The hotel breakfast if not included is totally reasonable. The clincher…. The TV has many channels in many languages. I couldn’t believe it! Even Hungarian. Etc. i have never seen channels from so many countries… including Qatar! Wow Also, the focus on environmental conservation. Ok. I think I’ ve made my point.

    I would not recommend this hotel. We booked a twin bed room at the hotel but unfortunately was assigned the room *** with a double bed. We requested for a change of room to twin bed room, but the way and attitude that the staff handled was very poor. The hotel staff blamed that the Agoda booked a double room for us and it was not their mistake. We did not want to blame anyone but just want a twin bed room as originally booked. They took a while and then assigned us to another room *** which was smaller and not as well furnished as ***. But then the password code does not work and I had to go to the reception again. When I successfully went into Room ***, the beds are not separated with one pillow only and one bed sheet covering the two beds. I had to call the reception again, but the reception staff originally seemed unwilling to help. Finally two hotel staff came to change the bed sheet and make it two separate beds. After a long journey and hot weather, I was really tired with such a long check-in process. When I expressed my disappointment and dissatisfaction, the hotel staff seemed not caring. When I said I would write comment on this, the staff just said “Do it”. This is the first time that I have encountered when the hotel staff are so rude towards guests. The beds and pillow are too soft. The room seems old and the bathroom is smaller and not in good set up. Will never choose this hotel again.
