We really enjoyed our stay. The host was exceptionally kind and welcoming, providing us with helpful information about parking and excellent restaurant recommendations. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, including tea, coffee, and all the essentials for preparing meals. The location is perfect—right in the city center, with all the main attractions within walking distance, making it easy to explore Ljubljana on foot. One of our favorite details was that there is a bakery on the ground floor of the building. It was wonderful to wake up each morning to the smell of freshly baked bread—it made the experience even more special. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly stay here again.

Deznik was located just at the right place - very close (walkable distance) to all the attractions and still at a quiet corner. It is at 10 min walk from from both bus and train station through a peaceful neighbourhood. Over and above everything else, Maria is an excellent host who has solution to all you need during your stay including a fully functional kitchen, store room, cloack room etc. I highly recommend Deznik for anybody travelling to Ljubljana.

If I have to nitpick I like to mention that the staircase is little narrow if you are travelling with big luggage like us. Not a big deal if you are travelling with regular size suitcases.

The little communal kitchen is a real asset. Like the rest of the premises, it has been furnished with love and an eye for quality and functionality. Marija is an unusually caring and attentive host.

The only quibble is the noise coming from the pub opposite. However, the windows do a good job at keeping the noise out, and after 1am, one can open the windows for fresh air again.
