Everything was great, clean, the building is beautiful and it looks like a castle from the inside

Super location, surprisingly quiet given proximity to bars/restaurants, even with windows left open. Good bathroom and room overall was of a decent size. Check in was prompt and efficient. Staff we met were all very nice.

The room did get a little warm albeit weather was exceptionally hot. Fans on full blast and windows open meant sleep wasn't affected. If owners were to invest in rooms then my suggestion would be to upgrade fans ahead of anything else.

A lift would have helped for heavy bags to third floor, but that didn’t detract from the quality of the property

The rooms were clean and spacious with a fantastic location. The beds were large and comfortable. The bathrooms were modern. There was great space for clothes and amenities like a microwave, kettle and fridge. A great choice for adults with no mobility issues.

The rooms are located up 3 flights of stairs with no elevator. There was work being carried out on the stairs and a slippery paper lining placed on them which caused my husband to slip and fall while carrying a child, causing an injury to his back. The doors have no locks on the inside and the windows have no safety features meaning they open completely to a 3 story drop and had a sofa placed under them making them very accessible to children. There is no air-conditioning which made for extremely hot rooms in July. Unfortunately as we were travelling with young children none of these things were ideal and had we noted these before booking we wouldnt have chosen to stay here. It is however fine for adults as long as you are ok with stairs and use them with caution.
