    The hotel is located near metro station, near airport bus stop, and in safe area. The front desk guys are very helpful and gave us tips for wherever we tried to go. The room is clean, comfortable.

    The Soho Hotel Barcelona has a lot going for it: it's very clean, the location is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. However, our room felt a bit tired, and there are two major issues if you stay here: noise and a total lack of privacy. First, the soundproofing is awful. Our room was right by the elevator, and we could hear every single conversation outside our door, as well as everything our neighbors were doing in their rooms. Second, the bathroom design is a huge problem for two people. The sliding door to the bathroom has a stopper, so it physically can't close all the way and it just slides back open anyway. Worse, there is no door at all for the toilet itself. You simply cannot use it without the smell filling the entire sleeping area.

    The customer service is simply not good. Mistakes, lies, fake promises, forgotten towels and other items (so you always have to go to the counter to be for normal things), but, mostly , gross breaches of security and intimacy. I had another client given the key to my room. He opened the door as I was fully naked in the bathroom right by the door. The concierge was with him, which makes it even worse. There was no compensation, aside from reimbursement of the city tax, and only after I had to go to the counter numerous times. If you want to spend your vacation at the front desk of a hotel, this is the one.
