The room was very clean and so was the property. I checked in after hours and had to leave early as well due to a clinic I was attending and the staff was very helpful in that regard! I plan on staying there longer next time I'm in the area.

The best thing about this property is the location, meaning it’s close to Smith College and a nice walk to downtown (if you don’t mind a relatively long hilly walk, which I like). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. The negatives were a somewhat absent and disinterested staff, a lingering smell (unpleasant) throughout the hotel (I opened the windows in our room to alleviate the smell), and the overall tired look of the facility - cracks in the ceiling, peeling paint etc. etc. An expensive price worth it if the location is what you need most, but the quality overall is mediocre.
