We booked a double room 4 months ago and we're given a room with beds for 4 we were told that was the only one they had and very dismissive suggesting it was good to have the extra beds at no extra cost. I pushed back and eventually was given a double room by a more senior staff member.

Was fine for one night. Excellent welcome at reception from the extremely helpful Lorenzo. INTERNET was down and one broken lift, leaving only one - observed staff member being extremely rude to another guest shouting at them when they understandably enquired about the INTERNET. Breakfast really good quality but after coach parties departed fruit and yoghurts not replenished leaving little for other guests.

I have never been to a hotel with such incredibly rude, rude staff. The room we were given had water leaking from the ceiling. Water was leaking from the ceiling as if it was raining in the room. The carpet was wet.... The room smelled really bad! Unclean room, yellow pillowcases, and dead flies on the windowsill. They thought we were delaying this as a family with our 1 year old. We talk to the tall young guy at the reception and explain that we need to change rooms. Get a quick answer, unfortunately we have no rooms. Then I say come up with another solution get an answer: we can't do anything and he turns his back. My husband tries to talk to him. We can't be in that room, we can't breathe we have a small child. Unfortunately we don't have any rooms he says and turns his back. He grins to the side with his colleague... We talk to his colleague about the problem, then he comes and says in Italian never mind them. He cuts her off so we don't get help. She says the same thing. We insist that we have the right to a new room. Then she becomes aggressive and screams I'm calling the police now. Okay, we're waiting for the police to come. They stand talking and looking at us and grinning. Had to wait 2 hours with our little daughter in her arms, grinning. No police came. So they threatened us. Okay we call the police ourselves ... all of a sudden I hear them say we found a room after they hear us call the police. useless guy and girl! disgusting No empathy humanit

I booked a room for two adults and a 12-year-old child, but the hotel claimed the reservation was for two adults and an infant. I clearly informed them of this mistake on the first day, yet was still charged an extra €210 for a triple room, plus €36 in tourist tax. The booking error was made by Expedia, but the hotel refused to show any flexibility or accountability, even with proof. The situation was handled with little empathy or effort to support the guest. Very disappointing experience

There are many small things, that don't match a 4 star hotel. In my opinion it is a 2 star hotel. I think the management is bad, because so many things don't work proberly. Watching a football game in Rai1 is mor possible because the pictures hang every 3 seconds. The personnell don't know how to get bus tickets. Thete are no cups at 7:30 available for breakfast. There are no don't disturb tags, therefore the cleaning personell is stepping in many times. Because of the old shape of the hotel you still use a key.

Some things ( not food) are very old and it is not good feelings. Roooms- you really need to renovate a object. Very dirty walls and rofs, old carpets smell offuly. Even if you clean good it doesn't helps. Please change smell of your cleanings products. It smell strong and amoniac. Together euth old carpets smell offuly. We need to open window in few hours to get better air in our room. And give to all a really bedclothes. Only the old blanket was not fresh and slero under this and only one sheet gave me very badly feelings that I sleep at the street. Sorry, but this was ofully. And you need to have more real pictures on bokings sites. Pictures shows some other reality.

The hotel has spacious and comfortable rooms. Staff is very polite. Breakfast was very good. We had dinner on the New Year’s Eve and it was not really up to our expectations. That, together with the location which was somewhat far from the centre ( piazza bra at 50 minutes walk) were the only drawbacks.

When we arrived in Verona we were initially concerned with location as the hotel is approx 3km from the center of city and main attractions. Fortunately there is excellent local bus service running every 30 min into the center of the city. The location turned out to be excellent, quiet, safe and the hotel was great. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was great. Great affordable hotel. Excellent Buffet style breakfast.
