Location is nice with many good restraunts nearby . There is even a club within a stones throw away.

It's a good hotel in many respects, very clean and spacious, but when it came to the things that matter like being able to get a good night's sleep, they failed miserably. There were two issues that affected this. First, the bathroom window in our room faced directly east and there was no door or anything to block the light from that window from getting into the main bedroom. So it did not matter that we had blackout shades in the bedroom, the light from the bathroom always lit our room up brightly every sunrise around 7 am so we woke up at that time whether we wanted to or not. The second big issue was that, as we found out, they turn off the air conditioning at night. Now imagine the following scenario - you leave the room in the morning and go do your sight seeing. While you're out, the hotel staff come and clean the room and while they're there they switch off the AC. That's perfectly fine, many hotels will do that. Your day of sight seeing lasts until 11 pm or midnight and you come back to a very hot room since it's been baking under the Barcelona sun all day. Again, nothing unexpected yet. But when you switch on the AC to cool the room down and only the fan comes on with no actual cool air coming through, that's a big problem. That was our second night here and we only got 2-3 hours of sleep because we were sweating in the bed. They may be a 4 star hotel but apparently that does not guarantee the basics. Will not stay here again

This is hands down the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in in terms of value for money. It is ridiculously overpriced, the facilities are outdated and shabby, and it is unbearably noisy at night. There is a bar directly downstairs, and the soundproofing is completely non-existent — you can hear everything loud and clear. What infuriated me the most was being charged an extra €55 in city tax for just three nights upon check-out. To begin with, this city tax was clearly stated as included in my original booking. On top of that, this is by far the most exorbitant city tax I have ever seen at any hotel — it is completely absurd and unacceptable. This ridiculous tax alone could easily cover an entire night’s stay at another decent hotel.

If you are a light sleeper or planning on spending a significant amount of time relaxing in the hotel, you may want to bring earplugs or consider your priorities. However, if you simply need a conveniently located, well-organized place to crash after a long day of sightseeing, it gets the job done.
