We spent 3 nights here whilst visiting the area and meeting family.
The Hotel was set in a tranquil location and everything about the Hotel suited us perfectly. We stayed in an Executive Room which was comfortable and spacious. The grounds were well maintained and the breakfast was excellent.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would not hesitate to return here and would recommend the Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxed break or visiting the area.

We stayed for a couple of nights in an Executive Double. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely garden view. A few issues with the facilities (no mains plugs near the bed, basin didn't hold water, safe was locked shut), but overall it was a good stay and we would definitely return. Much better room pricing available via third-party booking than with the hotel direct - which is unusual.

The room was so musky smelling, a very big dirty path on entry in the carpet, and light switch to bathroom filthy with a built up of grime from years of not being polished clean, did ask the reception to clean it but it never got cleaned ..also the beds were impossible to sleep on as so hard and uncomfortable and the one disabled spot in the car park was constantly taken up by a none disabled car parked their for our duration, did tell reception staff that a non blue badge holder was taking up our only place to park, we had to park a long way from the hotel and walk from the over pill car park ....we had our rooms in the attic part of the hotel and with it not having a lift made it hard for us to climb the many stairs...lovely grounds at the hotel but the room was so basic and nothing like the photos displayed when booking online ....
