Food was very good quality

I booked with Booking.com & my colleague booked direct. He paid less, had breakfast included in the price and had a superior room. So this isn’t a criticism of the the hotel, just the system.

great for 1 or a 2 night stay, value for money

the staff could not do enough, extremely helpful, room was comfortable enough, including the bed, but springs a bit noisy, both dinner menu was great & dinner was executed perfectly.

A little disappointed with the breakfast, full English not up to expectations did give feedback to the chef, although the menu itself has plenty of choice & the continental aspect was very good. A shame there was no lounge area or separate bar to enjoy prior & post meal.

Overall very happy with the hotel.

Staff. Excellent service, friendly and welcoming. The service in the restaurant was excellent both in the evening when we were served by Charlotte who was new to the job and also at breakfast. Reception staff were very friendly.

The room was a little basic I.e. the dressing table/work top rather small, but happy with cleanliness . This isn’t a criticism merely an observation. The mattress was rather uncomfortable for my liking, very soft/worn on one side.

Pleasant time spent with friends.

Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly.

We went for the BBQ. There were a group of us. It wasn’t very well run. As I am a vegetation and there wasn’t anything on offer. One of the party was told they could only have one piece of meat, whereas the rest were given two! The food wasn’t served from the BBQ but from the kitchen. Lovely atmosphere but unfortunately the food was a let down. Sure they will do better next time.

Superb Woodcote Manor hotel

Beautiful hotel, suite was lovely and the gardens were stunningly beautiful, we didnt want to leave..breakfast was superb too. Was a bit further away from the event we went toin Thornton Hough, £20 taxi fare each way! The only gripe we had was a delivery arriving outside our window at 6.30 a.m waking us up after a long day! But apart from that, we.d definately love to go again for a lovely chilled weekend, beautiful oasis.

Comfortable, lose and but just far enough away from the noise

Wonderful large garden with fruit trees in the back. Great spot for a drink, enjoy a quiet spot or have an event.

Location was perfect for my trip, hotel very clean and comfortable but a lift would have been perfect. Food was lovely if a bit pricey. Hotel grounds were well laid out.

Nothing really apart from lack of lift and parking wasn't brilliant. Also booking.com mucked up my son's booking and nearly left him without a bed for Saturday night.

The shower in room 7 didn't work. Wouldn't turn off using the button on the unit. Had to use the pull cord to switch it off and came on when the cord was pulled.

A complete waste of money!

The worst bed I’ve ever slept in! Full of lumps and a huge dip in the middle. No hair dryer in the room. Ancient Triton shower from the 70’s, no power at all! I was 2 floors up in a single room full of furniture which should have been put on a tip years ago. No lift, so I struggled as I’ve recently had knee surgery. Told the girl that on reception when I arrived so she offered to help me with my bags. When I checked out, and I told them I’d really struggled with 2 flights of steep stairs they told me I should’ve been put in a ground floor room, but I was never given that option. Cost me £140 for 2 nights of agony. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

This is my first time staying at Woodcote & 610 squadron and I will be booking to stay again. The location is good, especially as I had visited Hooton Park earlier in the day. The room was very clean, comfortable bed and staff are friendly.

No frills but lovely all the same

The woodcote is a lovely little place to stay. Can’t fault the staff, super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We had a room by the garden which was convenient as we were there for a wedding. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable too. There was no iron in the room but there was no issue with obtaining one and an ironing board from reception. The food in the hotel is lovely we ate dinner there on the first night then We had breakfast before we left which was definitely a huge strong point. Loads of choice and really good food and portions. It’s a little annoying that if you book through booking.com you don’t get free breakfast but if you book directly you do. So we only ate there once for breakfast but we enjoyed it.

There were cobwebs in our room complete with spiders, not a huge issue but also maybe something that could be addressed prior to guests arriving. There were a couple so I would say they’ve been missed by housekeeping. Rooms were quite noisy, you can hear the people above bouncing around quite early in the morning which woke us up but again not a dealbreaker.

Fantastic experience with friendly staff and high quality food.

The room ,the staff and the food were exceptional. The room was very very clean ,roomy and well decorated and everything worked as it should. The staff on reception and in the restaurant at dinner and at breakfast were extremely helpful and friendly. The food quality at dinner and at breakfast were fantastic. This was the last hotel of 10 that we had stayed in before heading for home. This was after a trip to the North and of Scotland and I can say with hand on heart that this was the best hotel that we stayed in . If we ever go to the Liverpool area again we will definitely stay here.

Woodcote suite

Checkin and out was easy. The hotel was clean. Block out curtains in bedroom were excellent. Bed was comfortable. Good choice of breakfast in restaurant.

Shower pressure was not good through rainfall showerhead and smaller shower head leaked and sprayed water onto the bathroom floor. Room 19 upstairs.
