    Small but facilities (bed, showers, blow-dry etc) are clean and efficient. The area seems safe and quiet. Unlike others' experience, I find the staff responsive. I would return.

    It’s tiny, floor is uneven, it’s HOT! The fan is dirty; everything was dirty. The bathroom had MOLD. Never stay here PLEASE

    I found out recently that this hotel is now under new management, which explains the big improvement in facilities that I have seen. The standards are much higher than they use to be, and as ever, Elena on reception is as welcoming and helpful as usual. For cleanliness, facilities, location and price, this is one of my favourite hotels in London.

    After a gruelling 18 hrs flight, we arrived in London at the height of the heatwave. It would have been tolerable for us coming from a tropical country. But to be in a very tiny room with very limited space to move (we expected a little bit larger room bec. It's supposed to be 14 sq.m.; we were able to compare it with the other hotel in Kings Cross where we moved in after 4 days. The hotel room in Kings Cross was only 12 sq.m. but it was bigger & a lot more comfortable). We just put one of our luggages under the bed. The fact that there was no aircondition also made it quite unbearable. We could have open the curtains but sunlight went down only at 10pm & up again at 4am. The curtains were also very thick. It would ease the heat a bit if there's thin curtains during summer. We were also right across hotel buildings with windows facing our windows directly. After more than 15k steps of walking the whole day, it would have been a relief to be back in the comfort of our room & take a cold shower. But again the miniscule size of the shower area made it uncomfortable too. If it's already not fit for Asian built, how much more with Westeners or Caucasians? Perhaps the supposedly double room given to us should only be for single guest. On a more positive side, the area or location of the hotel is very quiet, clean & strategically located. It's just a stonethrow away from the Underground station & bus stops & also from various restaurants, pubs & supermarkets. All the hotels & inns in the area have similar white facade that gives very serene & elegant ambience. Perhaps if it's a different season, the hotel would be alright & also if the room is really the real size that was advertised. Thank you anyway.
