    I was pleasantly surprised when i arrived to have to drive my car through a gated property which immediately installed me with the feeling of a secure car park for the evening unlike other hotels. On entering the building it was warm and refreshing and the reception was very welcoming. The room itself however was a significant let down as due to the wet weather the radiators needed to be switched on and as the room warmed up so did the horrible wet dog smell from the carpet in the bedroom. It was obvious that a dog had recently been in that room however Gio was very accommodating and moved us room to a luxury suite. This was smaller than our apartment but at least it did not smell. The disappointing issue with this room is it states on the website it is a king bed when actually its two twin beds with a double fold over the middle. However having been re roomed already i did not not want to raise anything further as i just wanted to sleep and relax. The highlight of the stay was the spa facilities they were a credit to the hotel very clean and refreshing lovely pool and jacuzzi as well as a hot steam room and sauna. Overall a beautiful place but please be more considerate to people that do not own animals as the smell in the room was just not good.

    Decent enough. Room too hot, but overall, serves a purpose for a night or two. Parking charge of £12 is a swizz though.

    Enjoyed my 2 nights here. The room was spotless; a fan was provided during hot summer, free pure drinking water, hot chocolate, shortbread etc. Foods were great at Sandeman but not that great at Foodworks. Had Chicken Ballotine but was too dry as if it’s been heated up using a microwave. I cannot compliment Miriam enough. She’s so cheerful , full of enthusiasm, proactive and listen when u ask for help. She made my day whenever I see. She’s a gem. Location wise, this hotel is conveniently located within the university campus. Opposite The Management School. Just few minutes walk to the Underpass bus station. Glad I stayed here . This will be the place to stay whenever I’m in Lancaster.
