    I got a large room with a king bed and tub on the first floor. The room and bed was comfortable and clean. The shower was great. Housekeeping staff was kind and cleaned my room everyday and gave me 4 bottles of water daily. Good location. In strange spot so getting a grab is easy though and can get anywhere quickly. My room had a balcony . Breakfast and lunch and coffee is right there and good, about 200 Bhat per plate and drink. Tip: go to the Thai BBQ right down the road for an awesome food experience. Good AC Good hot water and shower pressure Pool was clean and great to cool off Atmosphere was nice and chill. Not too much noise from motor bikes and tuktuks

    Loved the hotel’s unique design and architecture—it really stands out. The pool was also a nice place to relax. A few things to keep in mind: the hotel is a bit far from the city center, so you’ll need to book a ride whenever you want to go out. There’s also not much within walking distance, and breakfast is only available at the hotel’s café. During our stay, the hotel was also quite quiet. Overall, it’s a good choice if you’re looking for a peaceful stay with beautiful architecture.

    Our experience was so great that we decided to return to Chiang Mai a week later and stay at the hotel AGAIN! They even put us in the same suite and provided us with a “thank you” piece of cake from the cafe. We loved that they stocked our fridge with ice cold bottled water daily!

    Very large comfortable rooms in the northwest corner of the old city. Most rooms are in a simple wood-and-mortar Thai-style building. But the main lobby building and another building whose function I never figured out are pseudo-Roman rococo monstrosities that even Donald Trump would find tacky. Sitting in the garden cafe (good coffee), you are treated to an eyesore that resembles the grotto of the Playboy mansion. Weird place. But good rooms. (Staff get 3 stars because I left my Kindle in my room, and it took about 45 minutes for them to answer the phone when I called, repeatedly.)
