Exceptional service and the warmest hospitality! I stayed at POR Arak with a friend who was celebrating a birthday, so I contacted the hotel before our arrival to arrange a little surprise. The staff were incredibly attentive and took the time to ask about all the details, including our preferences and budget, so they could customize the birthday cake for us. What they prepared was honestly beyond my expectations. Everything turned out beautifully, and my friend was genuinely touched by the surprise. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. The warmth and hospitality from the front desk staff were probably the most memorable part of my stay in Chiang Mai. Although the hotel is relatively small, it has everything you need, and everything is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast also offers a great variety of choices, and the staff even take the time to introduce the special dishes available that day. Another thoughtful touch is that fresh fruit, coffee, dairy products, and bottled water are available 24 hours a day, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet lane within the Old City, making it a very peaceful and comfortable place to stay while still being within walking distance of several famous temples. The location is excellent. I also loved the friendly resident cats around the hotel. They are absolutely adorable, very sociable, and not afraid of guests at all! The hotel also provides umbrellas and bicycles for guests to borrow, which was very useful during our stay. When checking in, the front desk also gave us a very useful list of recommendations for nearby restaurants, bars, night markets, attractions, and temples. We actually followed several of their recommendations and were very happy with all of them. It was such a nice personal touch and made exploring Chiang Mai much easier. A huge thank you to the entire POR Arak team for making our Chiang Mai trip such a wonderful and memorable experience. The genuine warmth, attention to detail, and thoughtful service really made us feel welcome. I truly hope to come back and stay here again in the near future. Thank you, POR Arak, for such a lovely stay!

The hotel's kittens are absolutely adorable. I decided to come to Chiang Mai on a whim, and as always, I chose to stay at this familiar place! They serve a delicious breakfast every day, so I never have to worry about what to eat in the morning - and if I need anything, I can just grab something from 7-11 nearby! I've booked a hotel here many times, and even when I decide to come here on a last-minute basis by myself, I always have a great time. Thanks for giving me such wonderful memories
