Baansuan in Town Hotel

Amazing beds, if you are looking for softer beds in Thailand, that's your place. Don't hesitate. Perfect location. Quiet. Clean. Amazing people working here too.

This is one of those places that I will definitely be going back to whenever I'm in Chiang Mai. 1. Aunties at the reception will make you feel like home, give all the advices and make sure your stay is great. 2. Mattress is one of the most comfy ones I ever got in Thailand. I do hours of research before booking my hotels, cause I did get injured before, after sleeping one week on rock hard bed, so no joke here - awful bed can ruin your holidays. Pillows are also fantastic, I wish I have asked where did they buy them from! (please guys if you read that let me know 😂) 3. The hotel and rooms were super clean, also our room was very quiet. 4. Location is just perfect. It's just at the outer edge of the old town in a small alley. Perfect to reach everywhere in the city. They have a shaded motorbike parking behind the hotel. 5. Few cafes less than 30 seconds walk from the hotel with super good and cheap coffee. Let's face the truth, coffee in Chiang Mai is delicious everywhere. 6. Price vs value ratio is unbeatable here. I live and travel around Thailand for a few years and I don't think I ever got such a good room for such a price. Really can't complain about anything here. Some people mentioned the ants, there were some tiny ones on the wall occasionally, but come on, we have them everywhere in Thailand, they are microscopic, they don't bite, they go their own paths and mind their own business. They are not the result of lack of cleanliness, you are in a tropical country at the end of the day and nature do its job. You will definitely survive seeing a few of them passing around. Just don't keep the food outside. 😅

Want a simple, clean, inexpensive efficient room with excellent lighting, peace and quiet, free water and other tasty snacks available every day, and super kind staff….in a great location just outside of old Old City? Then book this place. Thank you, Aunt Bow and Atsana, for making sure I had a wonderful stay.
