We slept here one night as we were catching a flight the next day. It's close to the airport but not in the nicest neighbourhood. Construction next door but we didn't hear anything. As long as you stay put, you're fine. Took a taxi here about $9 CAD from the airport. Breakfast was adequate. Bed was comfy.

The hotel sits in the middle of Chaweng which is the best location possible, however the bedroom rooms are on the smaller size although we go a beach front villa. Meaning there is nothing you can do but being on a bed in your room. However, the hotel is right by the ocean and has huge pool with great facilities. Plus the location is great! So there are many more things to do around the hotel so you’re not in your room much anyways!! Over all great stay!

Overall, OZO Chaweng is a nice, modern hotel in a great location with direct access to a beautiful beach. However, considering the price we paid, we expected a noticeably higher standard. The biggest issue for us was cleanliness. This was not limited to one area – we noticed it in the room, around the pool, and also during breakfast. Our room did not feel properly cleaned upon arrival, and throughout our stay the general level of cleanliness was below what we would expect from a hotel in this price category. The same applied to the breakfast area, where dishes, cutlery and tables were not always as clean as they should be. The area around the pool could also use much more attention. The hotel itself has a lot of potential – the location is excellent, the design is modern and the beach is lovely. However, good facilities and location are not enough when the basic standards of cleanliness are inconsistent. For us personally, the overall experience simply did not represent good value for money. At this price point, we expected much better attention to detail and a higher standard of housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the hotel.
