    This was our 3rd trip to Blu Monkey Pooltara Krabi, and it continues to be our absolute favorite getaway. If you are looking for a relaxing resort surrounded by lush greenery and nature, this is the place to be. The property features a beautiful, tranquil environment complete with a swimming pool, a clear stream perfect for kayaking, and lovely resident ducks and fish that add to the charming atmosphere. The room itself was a major highlight. It was spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Despite the tropical surroundings, the air conditioning was ice-cold and refreshing. I also absolutely loved the bathroom—having a hot shower with perfectly consistent temperature control after a long day of outdoor activities was a massive plus. As someone who needs to stay online, the Wi-Fi was incredibly stable and strong. I experienced a perfectly smooth connection to my laptop for work, streaming videos, and browsing social media without any lag. Whether you want to unwind by the water, kayak, or just enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature, this resort delivers. We will definitely be back for a 4th visit!

    The place was extremely dirty and clearly not cleaned properly before our arrival. In the doorways, I found dead dried geckos, and the house was full of ticks. We came with a dog, and this place is completely unsuitable for staying with pets or, honestly, for living at all. During the night, the tick situation became unbearable. My wife and I removed and killed more than 30 ticks inside the house, and we also found 6–7 ticks on our dog. When one of the ticks bit our dog, we left immediately at 00:33 at night because it was simply unsafe to stay there any longer. They also ask for a 1,000 THB deposit and then refuse to return it. The woman who checked us in has been ignoring us and does not want to refund anything, including the deposit. She does not care whether we actually stayed the booked days in the house or had to leave because of the infestation. On top of that, there are aggressive stray dogs on the property. You cannot even go outside or sit on the veranda peacefully because large stray dogs act aggressively toward you. I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone. It was one of the worst stays I have ever experienced. Photos of the ticks are attached.

    Peaceful hotel, it's the perfect place to take a break from it all. Swim in or kayak on the beautiful river. Lots of wildlife to see. You will need your own transport or just use Grab.

    I stayed here for just 3 nights with my husband and would like to extend my gratitude to this exceptional place and the people that manage it. The minute you step in you feel like you’ve been transported to a feeling of calm, serenity and peace. The room was so aesthetically done,clean and the mattress so soft to sleep on. We got a massage after checking in right next to the flowing stream and amongst the chirping of birds. Thank you “Nim and Waa” the massage was divine. The staff here is the kindest and warmest people I’ve come across on my travels here( sorry that I don’t know all of their names). A huge shout out to “Ya and Nun”❤️. You guys have my heart. We were unable to get a scooter on our own and had frankly no hopes of getting one until these guys rescued us. They managed to book us a scooter. They always had recommendations and suggestions about anything you'd need. The food at the cafe was fresh and authentic. The things we had were just so tasty from beef curry rice to croissants, chicken fried rice, mango sticky rice to name a few ( just typing this made me drool). The food was always accompanied by a smile from “Rain and Ya” and everyone else serving us. There are just so many activities to do. You could jump in the pool on a hot afternoon or read a book from the library. You could also go kayaking, tubing, play table tennis, pool, book a yoga appointment, get a massage, take thai cooking classes, paint, go cycling, feed the fish and also feed the ducks. There is also a Children's play area and board games. This place has something for every age group. We also spotted a monitor lizard, a water snake,monkeys and so many birds. You could also just sit by the flowing stream at night and gaze at the beautiful sky. I’d recommend this place to everyone and I hope it stays the same. Can’t wait to come back here.
